Is it bad that my baby watches tv?

He's 9 weeks, and we do not set him down to watch it intentionally. My man's a big telly watcher so it's almost always on, when he's at work i take my son out or have music on instead. But when he's home and the tv is on, our little man will always turn his head toward the telly and be completely fixated with it. Whether he's on his playmat, in his bouncer or swing chair, or just having cuddles. Is it bad for him?
