How do preserve the sanctity of traditional marriage?!?

With the ACLU and gays attacking the sanctity of marriage, how do we moral Christians stand up and stop this country from going down this path of sin and destruction? I've already gotten people together to gather signatures to get a constitutuional amendment to ban it forever.. but what else can be done?
