Do you believe im getting old to study at University?

Hello, Im willing to study at University and get into information technology degree. I came to Canada when i was 19 years old,having previously attended to university back home enrolled in computer engineering( 2 years), then i came to high school to leaned english in canada.Currently, im 22 years old and i was not able to acquired the score in the English which is 70%, i got 60%,therefore, i have to apply in january when i turn 23 years old! i don't know guys,ironically, i had give my best in everything and i did not see myself at this age without even been at university. I see many guys going to college ( advanced diplomas 3 years) and im thinking to go for that path because my english level is up to study there. what would you recommend me? right now im working part-time at dollar store getting $10.25
